2024 Victoria High Country

Travel to Tom Groggin Campgrounds, located in the Kosciuszko NP on the banks of the Murray River . The next morning, we’ll cross the Murray into Victoria Alpine NP and drive Mt Pinnibar , Mt Anderson and Mt Gibbo tracks before making our way to Talbotville to set up basecamp for a few days. From here, we’ll drive the famous, Billy Goats Bluff , Blue Rag Range track  and several others,  & visit the famous Dargo hotel for lunch. Then we will making our way to Mansfield over a few days via Wonnangatta Station, where we will visit a few huts including the Iconic Craigs Hut .

Vehicle Requirements (NO TOWING): high clearance, standard TLCC recovery gear & equipment, winch desirable, minimum AT tyres. Your vehicle needs to be setup to drive some difficult tracks.

You need to be self sufficient for water, food, etc. We will aim to camp in campgrounds with toilet facilities (long drops)  but have a shovel ready. Maximum 2 to 3 days where we will be fully  off grid. More details to be provided. Desirable a couple of chainsaws within the convoy.
