Christmas Party 2024

This year’s Christmas party will be at Murphy’s Creek Escape ! call now 07-46305353 to book your spot and mention “Toyota Landcruiser Club” to be allocated near your other Toyota enthusiasts. We will be utilizing the BBQ Area and its large communal fire pit for our Saturday night meal and around the fire gathering, also kids games and Santa if he can find us, so please look at the map on https://www.murphyscreekescape.com.au/ located right at the bottom of the page to help pick your spot.

All camping fees are per person per night,  Kids up to 16yo are $8.-pp.

The wonderful people @ Murphy’s Creek will be holding campsites for the next few weeks to give everyone a chance to book a site close, but you can book anywhere you like if you want some space. 

• P3 to P18 Yellow $18.00 powered level sites, ideal for vans, pods and hybrids mainly gravel sparce grass patches
• CT1 to CT4 Orange $22.00 powered level sites overlooking the creek dirt base suit vans or camping 
• BL3 to BL 7 and all Green sites $16.00 These sites are not level they have the natural slope of the land (not huge) nice grass cover

 The above mentioned campsites are close to the BBQ area where the Festivities will take place. please mention caravan size as some spots are small every site has a Fire pit and a large communal Fire pit situated near the BBQ area. So, don’t forget your firewood.

Saturday afternoon we will be attempting to roast a feed of Beef, Lamb & Pork with potatoes courtesy of the club and ask everyone to bring along a variety of salads to share with all eg green, Greek, pasta, potato, coleslaw or whatever you’re good at and maybe a desert as well

FRIDAY 

• If you are arriving after 2.00pm Friday or before 11.00am Saturday please ensure that you organize an after hours check-in with the office when booking
• During office hours check-in at office and setup at your leisure explore the local area or just relax there are no organized activities for Friday
• For anyone who would like to enjoy a pub meal and a beverage or 2 ( 9 minutes away) at Murphy’s Creek Tavern on the Friday night, if you don’t have a driver they can pick you up in a  8 seater bus and are happy to do a pickup/drop off for  TLCC Members.

Saturday 

There are activities for the Kids and/or Adults, your child’s activity choice needs to be booked in the notes on the club website when booking your trip ticket. Every child up to 17yo will get ONE free activity paid by the club.

• Further activities for adults or children in addition to their free activity, can be booked and paid for by parents directly with the reception at Murphy’s Creek.
• Please note bookings and pre-payments are essential …minimum 1 week prior to activity commencement.
• NO 1… The GIANT Swing at 9 am, you get 2 swings @ $15.- pp Minimum age 6. this is a team activity and will require Parents and adults to assist for the duration of the activity recommended to wear t-shirt and longer shorts for Harness comfort.
• NO2… Medium Ropes Course  at 12.30pm $20.- pp minimum age 10 AND must be able to reach 180 cm. 1 hour and 45 minutes session. Requires enclosed shoes and recommended a bit off mozzie spray. ( meet at activity shed, not the course)
• NO3…Archery at 2.30pm $9.- pp minimum age 6 for a one hour session requires enclosed shoes and again some mozzie spray. Please be on time for all activities as they have to go through some safety procedures and if you are late…You will miss out !!

Saturday afternoon we will have a game or two if Jack gets going but bring some xmas decorations for the family xmas tree decorating challenge

On the Saturday night we will do a selection of Roast Meats with some potatoes….if everyone could please bring a Salad or something else wonderful to share. we might even have some Ice cream for desert.

• Also maybe dress to impress in your xmas best attire as there may be a prize or two

IMPORTANT STUFF TO DO IF ATTENDING

• Visit the Murphy’s Creek website https://www.murphyscreekescape.com.au/  have a good look around at all there rules, regarding dogs, music, check-in & checkout, activities and the FAQ page so that you are informed
• Book and pay for your site
•  Please purchase a gift for your Child (or Grown Up) Max $25.-  Wrap & tag it and give to Santa’s helpers for Santa to give to your unsuspecting Children, please participate as we don’t want any child being left out
• Book on the website, 1 ticket per family then checkout attendee 1 enter member name and email, save & checkout choose number of adults and children and fill in extra adults name and children name and put child’s age e.g. peter 12 in the box and at the bottom in additional information please put in what salad you’re bringing to share & chosen activity for children. Please delete any names from the boxes if not attending
• There will be some singing, best dressed etc. competitions with great prizes so everyone better put on their best Christmas attire and practice your singing voice.
