Not sure what to do for Mother’s Day? Bring your mum out for a beautiful scenic drive! Or you’re a mum that wants to take the wheel for the day? Or be chauffeured? Or looking for a nice day out no matter the circumstances..
Let’s start with breakfast/morning tea at the Lake Moogerah Cafe https://lakemoogerahcafe.com.au/menu then head up the range to Killarney via the Condamine River Road. See the source of the Condamine river and enjoy the 14 river crossings on this easy drive. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a tranquil setting. Option to return the way we came for 28 crossings, or return via Queen Mary Falls.
If you have the appetite for something more exciting on the way home, follow me to Geiger Road at the back of Boonah.
Bring a picnic lunch and afternoon tea, bring chairs.
Bring your normal recovery gear just in case, but especially if you want to drive the Boonah medium/difficult track, suitable for high clearance vehicles only.
Meet up time and location TBC, but aiming for Breakfast/Brunch/Morning Tea at Lake Moogerah Cafe at 9:30am.
