Sand Driving Course Nov 2022

The plan is to run a sand driving course. We will be camping at the Noosa North Shore resort and starting at 9 am on the Saturday morning. We will discuss sand driving issues like tyre pressures, speed limits and turning precautions. There will be a snatch strap demonstration . This will include a discussion of beach driving rules and awareness of pedestrians and other users of the beach. There will also be a section on desert driving. Sunday will be a day of more driving for practice and leisure driving. Most people arrive Friday night and are all invited to Saturday night dinner at the Bistro. Please bring your roadworthy 4×4 and any traction aids you have for sand e.g. Maxx Traxx and well as a long handled shovel. Families are welcome to join is the whole event. It is NOT a driver training where only the student is to be in the car. This trip is much more relaxed than that.
