Borumba Dam & Landcruiser Mt Park Oct2021

The Ekka Long weekend will be spent travelling to Conondale NP and onto the head waters of Borumba dam on the Friday via Borgan Rd near Jimna. We will camp on a property on the edge of the dam where there are some scenic 4wd tracks. On the Saturday we will head around to Landcruiser Mt Park for the day and maybe meet up with David Arnott. Sunday we will explore some tracks around Conondale National Park.

Only camping will be permitted (or those with experience with offroad camper trailers). Please bring all your own water. There is firewood on the property that we can collect. Bring a toilet or dig a hole in the bush. There are no showers so you will either have to bring a shower or take a swim in Yabba creek at the campground or use the showers at Landcruiser Mt Park on the Saturday.  Camping will be $30 per vehicle. ($15 per night). Payment method for camping fee will be advised closer to the date.

Please bring all your recovery gear. There is no fuel stations at Jimna or Landcruiser Mt Park so ensure you fill up at Woodford before we depart.
