Learner Driver Night

There is a learner driver night being held at Qld Raceway on Thurs 27 June starting at 5pm with multiple sessions being held until 9pm.  Cost is $40 per vehicle and goes for an hour.  You must book through the Qld Raceway website.

Starting with a short classroom style briefing, police will advise of the “Do” and “Do Nots” of emergency vehicle interactions and provide information for the on-track proceedings.

Learners will then take their own vehicles, with their supervisors alongside and head out onto the track.  Police will activate lights and sirens, simulating that the Learner needs to move out of the way as the Emergency vehicle is enroute to a job.

You must hold a Learner or higher driver’s licence to participate.  Although the event is targeted at Learner drivers, if you are on your P’s or even someone whose been driving for some time you can still participate.  Only Learner Drivers would be required to have their supervising driver attend.
