Scenic Day Trip

Another day out in the beautiful scenic rim. Meeting at Aratula, we’ll head up the range to Spicer’s Gap – this is a track not many people know about and have driven past many times. At present it is a fairly easy track with 1 difficult rocky gully to cross. There is an optional walk to Govenor’s chair lookout, it is about a 1 hour return walk. Then we’ll head back towards Boonah and enjoy more views with a picnic lunch before tackling a difficult drive. The track is heavily rutted. It is best if you’re an experienced driver, with a lifted vehicle and good tires. You could drive the track one direction and head home, or you could tackle it in the other direction before heading off. What to bring:
